 O.LISBOA hosts PPG conference in Rio de Janeiro
O.LISBOA DESPACHOS INTERNACIONAIS LTDA. (O.LISBOA), the exclusive partner of the PPG network in Brazil, has been selected to organize the 4th annual conference of the network in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Topics such as project and heavy good logistics, discussions and networking have dominated the agenda. More than 70 members attended the meeting despite flight disruptions caused by the eruption of the Puyehue volcano in Chile. “It was a great pleasure for us to organize the annual conference of PPG and we are proud that we have been selected for this event”, says Dominik Keller, Managing Director of O.LISBOA.
The Group’s management estimated the organization of the conference by O.LISBOA very much: “I thank O.LISBOA for their invaluable support and contribution as our local host and sponsor. They did a truly fantastic job and the event would not have been so successful without their contribution and superb organization”, says Kevin Stephens from the PPG Group. Memorable moments included the welcoming cocktail reception on sugar loaf mountain and the churrascaria, the typical Brazilian barbecue.
Delegates of the Project Professionals Group in Rio de Janeiro endorsed Bangkok as the 2012 annual conference venue for the specialist project forwarding network.
